The Listener

But you who walk facing the sun, what images drawn on the earth can hold you?
~ Kahlil Gibran

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:

I am the captain of my soul.
~ Ernest Henley

A piece depicting serenity and concentration with an unawareness of self.
Anna sculpted this piece using herself as a reference. She used mirrors to study the musculature in the back.

Size 57 x 18 cm
Cast in bronze using traditional lost wax process.
Limited Edition of 12
